By Pinar Dag/ London 150th Anniversary of Highgate East Cemetery June 2010 June 2010 is the 150th anniversary of the famous Highgate East Cemetery of London. I took advantage and went there to visit a selection of natables that are buried there. The cemetery has been awarded the English Heritage Award Of Grade I status on the English Heritage Register. It is currently one of only ten cemeteries and memorial gardens on the register, and in the top 10% of all the sites registered by English Heritage, according to the cemetery web site source. V&A illustrations exhibition compressed into a small corridor By Pinar Dag Victoria& Albert Museum / London At the first glance that a very nice exhibition and very particular and clearly evident that it is very quiet work with rich creativeness and imaginative about winning illustrations. But surprising that the V&A Illustration exhibition is deserved to be displayed somewhere much more visible. Not a narrow corridor with poorly lighting.
